my belief in 'Trust' is at an all time low... but not lost.

A
bloke's February
2004 online
journal I'm
just going with the flow. any
red/green 'highlighted' words are links to deeper stuff.
Sunday
1st February
Enjoyed a lovely day with Maureen's Grand-Daughter's Family
and wondered what Elisha Mary's lifetime will see. Monday
2nd February
Saw my new chap at my NatWest Bank and was pleased that
he had confidence to support me, as stuff gets sorted.
Later,
I was pleased to unwind at Chapter but bemused by personal misconceptions
later. Tuesday
3rd February
Once the hangover had passed my discomfort continued
till misunderstandings
were resolved. Wednesday
4th February
Went to the Woody and tried my 3 'poems', on Scotty
and Tony, and was pleased. Thursday
5th February
Went across the road to the Club, and tried my 3 'poems'
again, and also enjoyed the opportunity to read them aloud. Friday
6th February
Designed a logo for Invisible Lipstick and then experimented
with Iron-on printing paper. Saturday
7th February
Not happy with the screen V ironed-on image I eventually
got a good compromise. Sunday
8th February
Dropped off the iron-on's and was happy to disappear
for an hour as I enjoyed the 'Bar' at a local Saltney pub.
Returned
to Maureen's, as Members of Chester Poets were arriving, and was fascinated
by the mix as we ran through next Wednesday's performance.
Ironed-on the 'Invisible Lipstick' transfers and it
seems to work sufficiently discordantly.
Monday
9th February
Called in, to the Grosvenor Museum, to understand the
room's mechanics with Maureen, before collecting re-prints of some of
her many Books. Popped
in, and saw Sarah and Michael at work and, apart from Sarah's glow, I
do appreciate the Tax savings, of the gift of some cartons of Marlboro,
and Mark's kind thought of Spanish Brandy. Tuesday
10th February
Weak with Spanish pain I attempted to catch up with
module 2. Wednesday
11th February
Michael went down South in readiness for Kerry's birthday
and their weekend in Paris.
Read my three 'poems',
as part of the Chester Festival
of Romance
I
think I did all right, on the night, considering my missing teeth. Thursday
12th February
Fancied tracking down a fond 70's memory and E-mailed
Finbar Furey. Friday
13th February
Suffered from the Spanish Brandy again. Saturday
14th February
Received a nice reply from Finbar and was pleased that
he and Eddie are still making music. Went
to the cinema to see the final part of 'Lord of The Rings', with Maureen,
and we each thought it stunning. Sunday
15th February
Tried working on my 2nd 'Life Coach' submission, as
I again attacked the pain with the last of the Spanish anaesthetic. Monday
16th February
Worked on my 2nd 'Life Coach' submission, Motivation
stuff. Tuesday
17th February
Posted my 2nd 'Life Coach' submission. Wednesday
18th February
Six Months since my Independence was thrust upon me,
unknowingly, I avoided the Woody where I
had once taken solace, following last year's
news, and relaxed with my Poetess as we enjoyed silvered trout. Thursday
19th February
Wrote a new Poem. Michael
returned home and seems to have enjoyed the 'Paris' experience. As
a PIG, I enjoyed a nice First and a meal, followed by a lovely chat with Maureen
and a special E-chat with Sally. Friday
20th February
Vince travelled North and we compared
our common dis ease but I was happy with my progress. While
I am still lost in the first level of The System, I have been forced to accept
my pain, as my Doctor signed another 3 months of reduced ability, and
I invariably move to level two. Saturday
21st February
Received a copy of a letter, from my Solicitor, and,
fortunately, understand Chinese whispers. Michael
and Steve enticed me to Absinthe and I've no bad remembrance but don't
remember falling down. Sunday
22nd February
Switched off as I drank more water. Fraser
phoned to remind me about his invite for Thursday. Monday
23rd February
Fraser phoned again, with genuine concern.
Later,
I enjoyed the thought that my poems could make a book, with my Poetess.
Tuesday
24th February
Dropped off my 3rd 3 month sick note to the system and
arranged to see my Divorce Solicitor next Wednesday and later enjoyed
experimenting with Steve B on MSN Messenger. Wednesday
25th February
Felt at ease talking to Liz, and later, in the Woody,
Scotty.
Thursday 26th February
I really enjoyed attending Fraser's 'Chapter' do and
it turned out to be most memorable, when the PGM popped in.
Friday
27th February
Sarah, Michael, Mark and Jason came and took me for
a meal, before we approached the loft.
Saturday
28th February
Sarah and I sorted through most of the emotional memorabilia,
that the loft had hidden from view, and I came to terms with her brutal
'keep', 'car-boot' or 'dump' regime... after a bit of haggling. Found
some more of my poems among the boxes of photographs, magazines, books
and memories.
Sunday 29th February
Michael helped us with the last of the loft and, when
Mark and Jason arrived, we hit the shed. I
was especially pleased to find a bag of my deceased Father's papers, which
included some of his ' Poetry Society' poetry.
