Non-Executive Directorship & Mentoring

The Director, Vince Craig, is ideally positioned to act as a non executive director for companies, either in the manufacturing or retail sectors.

As you can see from his CV, he has had many years experience
in both these fields, operating at, and in including board level
in multi-million turnover companies with involvement across Europe.

He has had experience in working as a mentor under the Institute of Grocery
and Distribution’s small business scheme. The three companies which he worked with, benefited from his help in developing their long-term strategies as well as acting as a sounding board for their day to day activities and he was particularly proud to be the mentor of MacSweens of Edinburgh, the first winner of the IGD's prestigious Small Business of the Year. Since then Vince has acted as a mentor for the Coventry based Food and Drink Net Project and for the Manufacturing Advisory Service providing crucial business advice to a wide range of SME's.

In addition to the numerous private firms he has helped mentor in the UK, he was proud to be asked in 2005 to act as a mentor for a number of senior members of the buying and technical teams of Sobeys Inc, Canada's second largest food retailer.

2005 also saw his reappointment by DEFRA for a second, three year, term as a council member for Food from Britain. He continues as a trained mentor for the PRINCE'S Trust and was pleased to be asked to join the board of Mediation Works the UK's largest mediation service supplier. In 2007 he joined the board of the Community Council of Shropshire, the County's biggest charity in providing services to local groups and organisations.
