Manchester delayed takeoff
Rhodos airport baggage confusion
Belair Beach Hotel at 09.20
tired

welcoming reception
left cases in foyer
headed quickly to restaurant

just in time
to catch some breakfast


after a most enjoyable meal
took cases up to our room
to be pleasantly surprised

by finding a welcome note
and a bottle of Champagne
from Sarah and Mark

 

 




and a lovely balcony view
   

the note informed us
that they would visit at 11

Sarah and Mark had expected us
to have had a full nights sleep



 

Sarah and Mark returned
we chatted again



so much for any sleep idea on our part

we then pottered around the hotel
and local supermarkets
and after an excellent meal
retired to the hotel bar

Karaoke night

till sleep overcame us
early in the morning
