Employed Consultant Through the many advances in power and usability, I have built up a modest test room, of 5 Broadband networked WinXp/'98 PC's, running many useful, informative and entertaining programs. I have been involved in the design, build and upgrade of numerous PC's in a manner convenient to their use in the multi-user environment of an average home or office and can demonstrate the benefits of Broadband Internet developments, Pro-Logic CD audio and MPEG video, Teletext, terrestrial, satellite and front door TV... all on a PC, as well as advise on how to run some of the worlds' best Business and Leisure programs. During the last nine years, the use of the Internet, both Email and the World Wide Web, have been especially important in my computer explorations and the research, conducted through a variety of Internet Service Providers such as CIX, MSN, CompuServe, AOL, etc. In 1996, I began experimenting with Web design at: http://www.drakesvision.com The introduction to NTL Cable Broadband in 2003, provided a superb and natural development, of all my communications imaginings so far, but I have, as yet, been unable to attain a minimum wage. |

The lessons learned throughout my career, most especially during my time with Merseyside Satellite Consultants, dealing with technological leaps and bounds from prototype to obsolescence with each new satellite launch has taught me to be cautious, yet the last few years have seen me promoting a product range historically riddled with incompatibilities but which are about to have come of age, with the new ingredient of the Internet. A
firm base and a common standard |
