Friday 1st December
A relaxing day and treated the skin to ointments.

Saturday 2nd December
Accompanied Sally to the Frodsham Christmas Parade
and enjoyed spending time with Sally's daughter, Holly,

before enjoying a pint with Sally's ex-partner, Mark.

Sunday 3rd December
Too windy for a walk (fortunately)
but Sally managed to get me out into the shops
and I treated myself to another Keane CD.

Seem to be enjoying music from Snow Patrol, Keane and Embrace nowadays.

Monday 4th December
Contacted Province on behalf of Ralph J
which gave me some good food for thought
before Lee popped in in the evening to pick up Sarah's laptop.

Tuesday 5th December
Played with some website ideas and treated the skin.

Wednesday 6th December
Got myself comfortable
before a most enjoyable evening at SRIA
and got a job as 2nd Ancient.

Thursday 7th December
Hit the paperwork backlog
in order to clear my table
in preparation for a Christmas tree.

Friday 8th December
Led astray from paperwork
as I tried to sort out Sally's Passport problems
before we visited Frodsham again to get her form signed.

Saturday 9th December
Accompanied Sally to Durham, to fast-track her passport,

and we enjoyed a pleasant stroll around the city
before an equally torrid railway journey on our return to Chester.

Sunday 10th December
Tried to get back into sorting my paperwork
but became aware of an oncoming cold
which of course I took like a man.

Monday 11th December
Felt terrible as the sniffles hit hard, so I explored audio and video experiences
as I dosed myself with cold remedies but was heartened by a kind Marlboro moment
when Tony 7 popped in and managed to listen to a Gloria Estefan track with Sally, later.

Tuesday 12th December
The headache had subsided
but I still felt rough, so treated the skin to some smelly treatment
as well as trying to ease the inner workings further.

Wednesday 13th December
Got the bus to Ellesmere Port with Sally and picked up my car from Ian M's
before a trip to Gawsworth Hall for a superb flower arrangements display
before dropping the car outside Sarah's abode.

Thursday 14th December
Concentrated on my skin's disablements again.

Friday 15th December
Was introduced to BitTorrents by Sally's Son, Peter, who was visiting
with his nice partner, Kat', before they went away for Christmas,
and was impressed.

Saturday 16th December
Stayed up all day and night
to get Sally and Holly to the airport
in time for their early morning flight to Lapland.

Sunday 17th December
Slept through most of the day.

Monday 18th December
After failing to understand Pete F's problem on the phone
I enjoyed a lift to his new flat in Ellesmere Port and soon sorted stuff
before stopping outside my old house, as I popped into the off-licence next door,
on the journey back to my new home and, after a coffee and chat with Tony 7,
I set about getting into some sort of Christmas thinking.

Tuesday 19th December
Paranormal John popped in, as I continued to Dress the Christmas tree
and tidy up, as Sally is back tomorrow,
as I listened to Eric Levi after Joy arrived, on her way out.

I was full of good intentions in sending Christmas cards, and presents, this year
but hopefully what is happening now should lead to a more focused mind next year,
so those of you that know they would have received my Best Wishes
please accept this little image as a thanks for getting me here
and if you don't know me... have a lovely year ahead.

Merry Christmas

Maybe next year's cards will be from Graham & Sally?

Wednesday 20th December
Sarah popped in before Sally arrived back from Lapland,
with Holly and Mark and, after the enthusiastic recounting of their travels
Sally and I explored the Lapland photographs later,
after an evening 'mince pie & sherry' get-together at Ann 11's kind invitation
and I enjoyed the company of many of our Square accommodation.

Thursday 21st December
Took Sally to a Hooton Park Christmas 'Ladies to Dine' evening as John B's guest,
which turned out to be a smashing evening, as usual,
and I enjoyed taking to the dance-floor with Sally.

Friday 22nd December
After Sally had encountered her Romany Lady
I then joined her for a pampering haircut at her local salon
and I felt cool enough to go Christmas Shopping with Sally later wearing my Stetson & scarf
and was pleased to bump into Cousin Pete and Son doing their Christmas run
but was saddened later that the Romany had advised Sally not to fuss over me so much.

Saturday 23rd December
Mother and Aunty Dot popped in to exchange presents, and Sally's Sister, Jillian,
before I accompanied Sally to Runcorn... but the Bank letter on the doorstep,
the freezing weather and nasty flu didn't allow me to walk past Sally's past house
with as much enthusiastic support as I would have liked
and it was with a little concern that I went to bed.

Sunday 24th December
Got a plaintive plea and went next-door to help Sally through a sadness in the afternoon
but tears were turned to joy when Holly arrived here later
and I grimaced with a smile as a lovely 'little person' played in my kitchen.

Monday 25th December
Sally and I enjoyed the joint Christmas tree here on Christmas Day
but it was hard work withholding Sally's desires to open the presents under the tree
until Holly and Mark arrived in the afternoon and it was a strange family event
but I was cheered and Sally and I enjoyed a lovely Christmas meal later
before Jean 8 and Olive 1 popped in for a glass of Christmas cheer
before Sarah & Lee arrived and the four of us enjoyed a lovely Dawn.

Tuesday 26th December
Worse for wear on Boxing Day
but managed to treat the improving skin, later, to some smelly ointment
as I listened to my superb Neil Young DVD present from Sarah.

Wednesday 27th December
The Flu hit Sally hard as I start to improve
and I'm really pleased that the skin is in good remission
but Tony 7, who is also suffering from the flu,
offered us a nice warm rum when we popped in
before I got some light provisions and kept Sally warm through the evening.

Thursday 28th December
Filled in FORMS before a visit to the Chester Council offices
before putting an electricity services overpayment cheque into the bank
while Sally explored a closing down sale at Jade... and

when I went searching
I was surprised to find her still chatting
with an acquaintance of mine
and I enjoyed treating Sally
to a lovely necklace and earrings
before she showed me a dress to match later.

Friday 29th December
Had a quiet day with the skin
as I enjoyed watching another superb DVD present
"I'm Your Man" by Leonard Cohen

Saturday 30th December
Sally and I enjoyed a wander around town
before a warming drink with Tara in Jade
before we called into the Pied Bull later.

Sunday 31st December
Pottered about till Sally got back from visiting friends
and
grabbed an egg sandwich while she got ready
before we went out to celebrate the New Year
with Sarah, Lee and some of their friends, at the Oaklands Hotel,
for an excellent end... to an intriguing year passed.

Best wishes for 2007
