my belief in 'Trust' has been at an all time low...
but not lost. Time to move
on.

Wednesday
1st February
Arrived
unannounced, a day late, as with the mail,
and enjoyed sitting-in on a 'Success' presentation by Nick L,
knowing that I'll be able to handle such an enthusiastic crowd,
and was pleased to accept his kind offer to train me, in NLP Hypnotherapy's,
and tread his path, by the second half of this year.
Thursday
2nd February
Unable
to get confirmation of the Enneagram
Retreat,
but Cyril picked me up, as I was fit enough to pop round to sort out his
PC,
and we enjoyed a nice pint, and chat later, in the 'Wirral Hundreds',
before dropping my car off, at the garage across the road,
and then treated myself to an interesting hour in the Woody, chatting with Chunkie.
Friday
3rd February
Enjoyed
chatting to Sarah, during a lovely phone call,
after confirmation of my booking-in at the Scargill
Retreat, next Monday,
and felt at ease later, when I gave my apologies, at the Chapter practice.
Saturday
4th February
Dreadful
night with toothache but picked up Ian M for a brief supermarket run
and selected stuff to ease my pain, before we returned here, for a
Chinese meal (2 for 1),
and I struggled to chew, but enjoyed some wine and
a chat,
before Ian hobbled to his taxi.
Sunday
5th February
Another
awful night but managed to get things washed and dried
before an intermission, after Tony A arrived bearing cans,
before resuming the packing of the suitcase and trusting that the cloves
kick in tonight.
Monday
6th February
Ian M kindly phoned early and I managed to get to see a Doctor in the
morning,
got some antibiotics, dropped some stuff off across the road, and a cheque
at the Bank,
before setting off, despite a swollen face, on my adventures into another
reality,
no
rush, just sauntered, and enjoying a motorway-cafe coffee on the way,
before arriving at Scargill about 4ish.
After checking-in, claiming a top bunk-bed, unpacking, having a wash,
and a little wander around, a lovely welcoming meal, an introductory talk
about the 'Scargill Community' and the good works that they promote,
before our group was introduced to our Enneagram Tutor, Michael Hampson,
and our first tutorial on the Enneagram... far surpassing what I had hoped
for.

After
Evening Prayers, everyone went to bed, and I reflected alone
before my last cigarette outside, before the doors locked at 11,
but I slept reasonably well, with 3 empty bunk-beds, and felt... at ease.
Tuesday
7th February
Got
up in time for breakfast and sucked a slice of toast into submission
before the morning tutorial, a light mid-day meal of soup and cheese,
shared,
some free time, which I spent reading the lessons so far, in my copy of
Michael H's book,
and looked at whether I was still an Enneagram type 5, before another
tutorial,
before another lovely evening meal and another Tutorial.
Michael
H had now covered the 9 gifts in Humanity,
and summed up, Spiritually,
how we can all grow, by knowing where we are, in the beautifully designed
Enneagram,
and I bought another copy of his book
before another 'early' bed.
Wednesday
8th February
Slept well, and was up in time for a cigarette outside, before breakfast,
happy that the swelling had almost gone, and I enjoyed another superb
tutorial,
before a good meal and a little camera foray, listening to Buddy Miller,
around the Scargill campus, in the free time, and I
enjoyed chatting later with Michael H,
about Prayer and stuff, before the afternoon tutorial, a lovely meal
and Michael's final presentation, and I later pondered the sky,
as I enjoyed my 10.45 pm, pre-lockout, cigarette,
and did a lot of thinking, before 12 am, in my soothing bunk bed.
I also bought a
3rd copy of Michael Hampson's Book (1 to
give, 1 for loaning out)
Thursday
9th February
Slept
through breakfast, but didn't miss the morning 'self-tutorial' that Michael
H had set
in preparation, for all of us in the group, who had been privileged to
accept the hospitality
of the Scargill Community this week... to say "Thank You", by
offering our gifts
to their Bread & Wine experience, and I was honoured to play a small
part in
our 'Enneagram' offering of the 'Confession' bit, and understood the effort
that was presented by another group, studying 'Dance' at Scargill , which
I also accepted
in the manner offered, before I enjoyed my 10.45 pm cigarette with a smile,
and a prayer.
Friday
10th February
Made
it to breakfast and made farewell's to kind Souls that I'd met in harmony,
who may have been disturbed by my 'Trinitarian' 5ishness, outside,
and it was with a warm glow that I drove away, aware why good folk want
to stay at Scargill.
Had
a good journey home, listening to Enya, only 2 hours,
and coped well,
when informed, by my Bank, that someone had Fraudulently
cleared the meager holdings in my business account,
and Dave W popped in to show his new PC,
and Kev cycled here to chat, and Sheena E-chatted,
but I enjoyed listening to Bob
Harris into the early hours, and enjoyed a glass of wine,
while writing this report about a wonderful 'Christian' experience,
as espoused by James' brother, Jesus of (Northern) Nazareth.
Saturday
11th February
Woke
early, but rolled over and slept through the day
before treating my, much eased, skin to smelly ointments
and an evening in front of the TV, before retaking the free RHETI
Enneagram test.

Sunday
12th February
Nick
L arrived in the morning and we worked well, with his website,
before a visit to the Woody for a steak and pint, before Nick left for
home,
and then Tony A popped in for a Sunday chat, and much later, Arran and
Loz arrived,
but Arran kindly set-up some web space for Nick L, after Tony had left,
and I relaxed later with Michael H's book, before an earlyish bed.
Monday
13th February
Ian
M popped in, after his visit to the hospital and, after dropping him home
later,
called into the supermarket to replenish the empty cupboards,
before a nice 'Monday night pint' in the Woody.
Tuesday
14th February
Finished
tinkering with Nick L's
website,
and uploaded it for him,
before settling down in front of the TV, skin coated in smelly ointments
and gums coated in 'oil of cloves'.
Wednesday
15th February
Pottered
around the house, but achieved nothing of merit.
Thursday
16th February
Managed
to get up in the morning and pick up my undelivered mail from last Monday,
and was pleased to see that I had a new Bank card, and was at ease, as
I enjoyed
John B's invitation, to another 'Hooton Park' Masonic
do, in the evening.
Friday
17th February
Cleared
a backlog stuff, before Tony a popped in for a chat,
and was pleased
that he was at ease when Brian B popped in,
and we all chatted well before Brian B went off
to play with my Scargill
photos, before Paranormal John popped in for a long chat.
Saturday
18th February
Got
the house tidy, and sorted Liz's problem,
before Sarah and Lee arrived, and I really enjoyed their company, into
the early hours,
knowing that their big adventure, around the World, was going to be a
wonderful experience.
Sunday
19th February
Slept
through the day again
but enjoyed Tony A's visit, and chat, in the evening
before finishing Sarah's kind gift, of a bottle of 12 year old Glenfiddich.
Monday
20th February
Ian
M popped in, after I woke to the mid-day doorbell ringing,
and I knew that I shouldn't have enjoyed Sarah's whisky as much, before
an evenings, emergency AGM across the road, and then a Monday visit to
the Woody.
Tuesday
21st February
Got
myself ready for a kind mid-afternoon pick up, by Dave W,
and enjoyed a superb evening at Temperance, Oliver Street, with new found
friends,
before a Messenger chat, through the night, with Mark S and Arran.
Wednesday
22nd February
Nick
L, and his lovely Daughter Rebecca, arrived, before we both
shared an interesting evening at the 'Local Employment Charter Awards
Dinner',
Tutor and Student and, after being presented to the Mayor,
Kev (another Student) joined us as we chilled and wondered
before I returned home and watched a recording of Monday's Life
on Mars.
Thursday
23rd February
My
neglected skin, of the last few days, bit back, and I took the day off.
Friday
24th February
Got
up in the morning and got stuff done,
got to the supermarket and posted my negligible VAT return,
before a long and enjoyable phone call from Sheena.
Saturday
25th February
Fortunately
missed the England\Scotland Rugby match
as Chris and Dawn arrived to talk over his concepts
and was still unable to read more of Michael H's, signed, book.
Sunday
26th February
Another
wasted day, still not found any 'Me Time' since the Retreat,
and enjoyed listening to Tony A's chat in, the evening,
before pondering my stuff, later.
Monday
27th February
Stuff
happened with Doug, Chris L, Sheena, and Paranormal John and,
after a brief visit from Nick L, and then, later, Arran & Loz arrived,
before we retired
to the Woody, before a fascinating 'Messenger' Chat with Arran and Sheena,
exposing our musical roots, and I was pleased, surprised, that I sent
Sheena
late into the night, a Leonard
Cohen track, as my 'present feeling' vibe.
Tuesday
28th February
Got
stuck into tinkering with Nick L's website
and realised my RSI deficiencies
before phone-calls\refuse collectors allowed me to sleep by 8 am.
