my
belief in 'Trust' is at an all time low... but not lost.

told me that I worry too much
but I just keep on 'Rocking'.

Sunday
1st January
Started
2006 off, with a Lovely
chat, with Sarah, Mum, Margaret & Simon
aware that Mind can overcome Adversity.
Monday
2nd January
Awoke,
knowing that I wouldn't be able to get to the Woody, in the evening,
but was so happy to have a Birthday chat with my dear Son, Michael, later,
remembering
being at his Birth, before Doug
phoned, later, with a PC 'spec' that he wanted to buy.
Tuesday
3rd January
Felt
like the 'old me', when I phoned Elf, as a businessman,
but stock hadn't arrived... then went back to bed
till a TV evening.
Wednesday
4th January
Managed
to talk to my Doctor and got a load of lotions
and eased Mum's worries when I told her that there was nothing,
in the extensive Blood Test results, that bothered my Doctor, or I.
Thursday
5th January
Ian M phoned early, and talked me through getting out of bed, before 9am,
and I trust that Judy M, from the RMBI,
felt the gratitude of a Recipient
as Chunkie and his Daughter arrived, with an unrequited bottle of Cognac,
to see what I'd done to her Uni Laptop, and I enjoyed explaining stuff
to his Daughter later,
aware
of the wonderful freedoms, and constraints, that I avoided, 40 years ago.
Doug's
PC arrived from Elf,
a nice spec, better than my Media Center PC, and then Doug,
but I enjoyed experimenting, aware that I've now got to get a Gig of RAM,
on the TV PC,
when Chris L arrived, nice moment all together, especially as he'd brought
a Bell's
gift.
Chris
and I spent a long time later, considering Health and Safety issues,
aware of my untold need for Benevolence, while dreaming of a healthier
past,
and wondered about stuff again, as I retraced Buddy
Miller thoughts.
Friday
6th January
Woken
by a front-door ringing, but moved too slow, to find out who,
and found it was early evening, till I was prepared to move,
but was pleased to enjoy an anaesthetic toast to Paranormal John later.
Saturday
7th January
Norman
S brought his '98 problem, and I realised that my enthusiasm for problem
solving,
caring, could be a mind\body reaction
and asked simple yes\no questions of my pendulum later.
Sunday
8th January
Tony
A called in in the evening, to share a misery can,
and I was fascinated at his acceptance of the swing of the pendulum,
as I gritted my remaining teeth at my skins' discomforting growth.
Monday
9th January
Doug
popped in, but I was so disappointed that I couldn't pop-around to his
house,
to help him set up the nice PC that I'd ordered for him,
as any movement still brings cringing, painful-skin explosions\stings.
Tuesday
10th January
The
nasty spread seems to have settled, back to it's established norm,
and, after lighting a few candles,
I treated myself to a very long soak, which eased stuff.
Wednesday
11th January
Managed
to get some washing done in the afternoon,
amid the Ows and Ooos,
and took refuge in front of the TV again, later.
Thursday
12th January
Did
a bit more washing and then got out of the house
for a visit to the supermarket, and a brief call at Ian M's home
to see how he was coping with his foot injury.
Friday
13th January
A
good day, considering, but need to clear the backlog
and get to grips with ironing the 30 odd shirts that adorn my walls
but Nick R popped in with a replacement mp3 gadget.
Saturday
14th January
Woke,
after listening to Nick L's hypnotic MP3s in my sleep,
and reflected later, after a lovely phone call to Sally,
especially as she and Steve had sorted their PC problem, themselves,
on how much I've filtered out so many good, past, memories,
as I try to compile special anchors, in readiness for March's NLP Induction
Course.
Sunday
15th January
Managed
to attack my Bank Statements, and E-mailed the spreadsheet
to Tony S, who has kindly agreed to sort out my Tax Form, again,
before another smelly coating in front of the TV.
Monday
16th January
Pleased
that the discomfort is still easing, slowly
but concentrated my treatments
on the arm and fingers.
Tuesday
17th January
Phoned
Sylvia to get her Solicitor sorted, and closure,
but was disappointed at the lack of conviviality
and drank tomorrow's alcohol hit.
Wednesday
18th January
Drank
water in the evening
and rested the arm and thumb
before a restless path to sleep.
Thursday
19th January
Prepared
the skin for a Hooton Park 'Burns Night' event,
complete with the Address to the Haggis, my Hogmanay,
and once again thanked Johnny B for a lovely invite, amid good company.
Friday
20th January
The
stinging has clearly eased now, leaving the occasional static-electric
shock,
and I was able to pop out to Doug's,
to explore the power of his new PC.
Saturday
21st January
Stumbled
through the backlog of un-opened mail
and, once I'd sorted and repositioned a new pile,
I realised that I've got to shed my 'fear and loathing' of enveloped problems.
Sunday
22nd January
Woken
by a kind phone call from Brian B, in the afternoon,
concerned that I hadn't updated this page for a while, which was appreciated,
and felt reasonably comfortable in the evening
when Tony A popped in to share a Sunday moan over a few cans,
and a few positive thoughts during a Messenger chat with Sheena.
Monday
23rd January
Woken
early by Don P, dropping off his Chapter resignation, but enjoyed the
chat
and was surprised to see Ian M later, after he had hobbled from the hospital
next door,
but wasn't comfortable enough to pop in for a coffee when I drove him
back home,
but was eased by the time that Chris M popped in
and enjoyed showing him how to update his web site.
Tuesday
24th January
Liz
R phoned and I was pleased to meet her hubby again, across the road later,
with their poorly PC, before Paranormal John popped in,
before Tony S kindly popped in to sort out my Tax Return.
Wednesday
25th January
Barry
J's friend, Brian B2, phoned
and I realised why I stopped fixing PC problems as a living, but accepted
the challenge,
before a long Messenger chat with Sheena, where we fixed some of her problems.
Thursday
26th January
So
pleased that I was fairly comfortable,
after accepting Doug's invite to Hamilton Chapter,
and enjoyed the fraternal feelings that pervaded the whole evening.
Friday
27th January
Brian
B popped in for a chat
before I went across the road
for a Chapter Committee Meeting.
Saturday
28th January
Rested
the arm and thumb
and pottered around the house
aware that I couldn't go 'Speed Dating' again with confidence.
Sunday
29th January
Concentrated
on the arm and thumb
before Tony A called in for a chat
and realised that I have to change attitude to heal the body.
Monday
30th January
Brian
B2 popped in and, after a swift Supermarket visit,
went to Doug's, before a first '06 visit to the Woody,
and enjoyed a long Messenger chat with Sheena
and signed me up for a Retreat,
and an un-remembered poem\E-mail.
Tuesday
31st January
Embarrassed
on morning's squint, before Tom C called in in the afternoon,
but was happy that Sheena accepted my thoughts later, in the manner offered,
during her very long phone chat, but I'm aware that I'm missing Female
company.
