my belief in 'Trust' has been strained...
but not lost
, finding that True Friends are there when you need them.

Friday
1st September
The
hands limited stuff and nothing much happened.
Saturday
2nd September
Pottered
about but didn't get much done
before resting in front of the TV and was content at an IQ of 110ish,
despite not putting on my glasses.
Sunday
3rd September
Put
on the Marigolds and managed to wash & pack the glass collection
while realising that Tuesday was the Real-Deal for my Future
before Tony A popped in for our 'Final' Sunday can and chat, here.
Monday
4th September
Mother,
Aunty Dot and Ian M sent Birthday Greetings cards
but it was just another day preparing for change and I was happy
that I could switch off, with my Chapter duties in the evening
with a bonus visit to the Woody in extra time later
before a few moments alone after.
Tuesday
5th September
Out
of the five promised helpers,
I was chuffed that two turned up to help me,
and while Scotty and I went to pick up the van, donated by Addhire,
Ian did his bit with boxes and after we'd dropped of my stuff in Chester
we declining a meal in the Frog and accepted that are age precluded another
run.
Many
thanks to Sharron when she allowed me another day's use of the van
which allowed me to enjoy sharing a pint with Scotty again in the Woody
later.
Wednesday
6th September
Ian
M and Scotty turned up again and we transferred another load of stuff
but, as the painter was still painting, I decided to spend a last night
in the Ex-Family home
and set up the left behind TV, after a last visit to Bargain Booze, next
door,
and enjoyed another superb episode of Sleeper Cell
before a surprisingly good sleep in a sleeping bag on floorboards
Thursday
7th September
Ian
arrived, just before Aunty Dot, and felt bad leaving her alone in the
kitchen,
as Ian and I took a carload of stuff but was saddened to get a parking
ticket
for stopping my car in the same place as the much bigger van had been
stopped at,
during the previous two days, but was able to look the Bobby in the eyes
as I listened to his reasonings but remain dismayed at the lack of his
understandings.
I
was grateful that the Manager of the Bull & Stirrup, across the road,
accepted my predicament and allowed me to park in his car park during
the next unload,
and when Ian and I arrived back to my ex-home, I was amazed
at what Aunty Dot had done, that Sylvia nor I could have achieved,
before Ian departed and I showed off my new home to Aunty Dot later.
After
Aunty Dot left to get the bus home, in her mature 80's,
she phoned to say that she had got a contact to look at clearing the sale-able
detritus
tomorrow, so drove back to the past and enjoyed sleeping on a couple of
sleeping bags
after another super evening in the Woody with Scotty, Phil & Brian
P and Ian N
as I prepared for a life changing experience.
Friday
8th September
Kevin
arrived and viewed the left over stuff
before Mum and Cousin Simon arrived to take me and a few more bits of
stuff to Chester
and I was pleased to see Aunty Dot and Aunty Bet arrive at the same time
and was really pleased that the three sisters left together
as I prepared for my first night in my new Home.
Saturday
9th September
Cousin
Pete popped in, in the evening, and I was pleased at his understanding
of my interpretation of my space and I enjoyed tweaking stuff,
after his kind comments,
before concentrating on a dial-up Internet connection, and enjoyed a toast alone later
as I received Sarah's Birthday greetings, as I enjoyed a Majestic
Armagnac.
Let out a lot of recent thoughts, as I regained Internet connection
albeit dial-up again but will soon be back on Broadband
and will get back to logical 5 stuff soon when emotion stops controlling
me.
Sunday
10th September
Found
the box with my smelly lotion in and my body gratefully accepted the need
for Exorex
as the psoriasis has got rather bad, as I've ignored it during the upheaval,
and, after clearing space in the kitchen, I wandered into Chester briefly
to buy a bit of food and I enjoyed preparing a spag\bol later,
accompanied by a very nice Shiraz\Cabernet.
Monday
11th September
Took
a break from boxes and went out and met some of my new neighbours in the
Square
and Tony 7 was most helpful in providing names to faces and doors, and
ordered BT Broadband,
before Colin C, from my Chapter, popped in with some produce from his
free-range hens
before I resorted to the local Kebab House again, 3rd time now, tried
the Fish'nChips,
after the Kebab and Burger nights and got a tasty 'regular's' waiting
treat
and explored a Pinotage for the first time as I contemplated on how nice
it feels to be here.
Tuesday
12th September
Went
to the old house, on the bus, and Mother & Aunty Dot arrived later
to help
clear up the last bits from the past before Cousin Pete arrived to transport
stuff
to my new Home and I reflected later on the emptiness of the past.
Wednesday
13th September
Concentrated
on the skin and didn't get much done as I just relaxed.
Thursday
14th September
The
new bed arrived and I walked into the City Centre and treated myself to
some new pillows
before treating the skin to more ointment, which seems to be easing nicely
now
and then managed to start attacking the bags and boxes in the bedroom.
Friday
15th September
Sarah's
friend Nick popped in and dropped off a packet Sarah's memories from her
travels
before I went into the City Centre to choose an Audio CD to buy, as my
now sound, but got
a phone call as I browsed from Mark (still my Son-in-Law), as his Grandma
lives in the Square,
and I returned Home and after chatting for a bit, his Mum and Little Sister
popped in,
before I relaxed alone in the evening, coated in my ointments which are
helping.
Saturday
16th September
Reorganised
the sound system again and was pleased to get my old B&W DM5's into
the system
before I took a break when Colin C picked me up to take me to his house
to help him get his Daughter Susie's laptop ready, in support of her Sunday
University start,
and I enjoyed sharing a few NLP learnings, as Mum Sheila prepares for
the change
before I returned refreshed and got my living room sorted, happy that
it reflected Me.
Sunday
17th September
Worked
on the Kitchen and the skin.
Monday
18th September
Moved
into the bedroom and made some space
sufficient to nip into the City centre to buy some curtains
and fired up the washing machine for the first time.
Tuesday
19th September
Moved
stuff around again and made a bit more space
despite the body's discomfort.
Wednesday
20th September
Paranormal
John and Helen popped in
before an appointment with the Solicitors over the by-laws of my new home
and found myself a Doctor's Practice.
Thursday
21st September
Broadband
arrived but didn't get chance to play before Paranormal John dropped in
and gave me a lift to the old house and dropped a car load of stuff at
my new home
before returning to wait for the meter reading man before Ian M and I
ran another car load
of stuff to Chester, before Ian cooked a smashing meal at his house, before
I discovered
that I only had half a car-key and will have to find the spare (in one
of the boxes)
before we walked to the pub where Ian N and Marion kindly gave me a lift
home later.
Friday
22nd September
Roger
J popped in in the morning before a surprise phone call from Sarah, in
London,
asking if she and Lee could crash here overnight, which led to a little
panic
as I cleared boxes & bags out of the living room but by the time they
arrived, about 10.30 pm, there was space for them to lay on the futon,
and the room looked homely
as we chatted long into the night and caught up on the last 16 week's
experiences.
Saturday
23rd September
After
a combined foray into the supermarket, Sarah & Lee went to their old
home
and collected some things before we relaxed into the early hours again,
chatting,
as I opened a 27 year old bottle of home-made Carrot Wine to toast our
new futures.
Sunday
24th September
Sarah
& Lee left in the afternoon, to stay with her Mother, more space,
before Scotty popped in for a coffee break, and carrot wine, before he
cycled back
and then I hit the painful skin with smelly stuff, as I deleted 8000 e-mails.
Time
to take some time off
and work out who I am
knowing that I'm lucky to have arrived here.
I'll
be back....
