Drake's Vision and Multimedia web site my belief in 'Trust' is at an all time low... but not lost.

A bloke's April 2005 online journal

I'm just going with the flow
any red/green 'highlighted' words are links to deeper stuff

Friday 1st April
Muttered 'White Rabbit' again
but have lost faith in predestination
and accept that my goals must go with the flow.

Saturday 2nd April
Paranormal John Picked me up
for a visit to the old morgue\community centre
but nothing turned me on.

Sunday 3rd April
Big Dave popped in
but I wasn't conducive to talk
as I worked on my Table Plans for tomorrow.

Monday 4th April
While my Runaway wife turned up, later than expected, I was happy
that I had organised the evening's fraternal festivities sufficiently
that I could relax... but I fell foul and had to admit to 'still missing her',
albeit adding "do you know the problems that you've caused!"
but I was pleased that the Chapter meeting went really well,
in the evening, and, as stuff happened, evolved,
I was happy to sit back and watch the players do really well.

Tuesday 5th April
Relaxed through the day, and phoned Ian M,
about an intriguing Channel 5 TV programme, that evening,
and he turned up later, with a nice bottle of wine,
to watch 'Secrets of the Old Testament' for a couple of hours, and discuss,
before leaving me to enjoy CSI undisturbed.

Wednesday 6th April
Paranormal John called round and I took the opportunity
to accompany him to Plas Teg, in the daylight, and help in a picture hanging
and it was rather jolly, offering my 'down a bit' comments and passing hammers.

Thursday 7th April
I opened mail, from my Solicitor, and made an appointment, for next Wednesday,
before Arran and Loz called round and gave me a lift into town,
to bank last weeks kind cheque and buy some Zippo flints, and after getting the bus back,
Paul R brought his 'first thoughts' webwork round, on CD, and I was impressed
and was pleased that my further suggestions were taken in the spirit meant.

Friday 8th April
The arm wasn't hurting much and I had a play with Paul R's content concept
and formed a feeling but the fingers failed to modify more than a couple of his pages
so reverted to watching nothing on TV.

Saturday 9th April
Wanted to get out in the garden
but made excuses
as I pondered that evening's (uneventful) investigation at Plas Teg.

Sunday 10th April
Very lethargic
but pleased to chat with Tony A in the evening
as we shared his hotch potch of beers.

Monday 11th April
Arran popped in to talk, and then Paranormal John
as I was settling in to enjoy some food
before I accepted an evening pint, in the Woody, after making time for me.

Tuesday 12th April
Managed to get into the garden, to mow the lawns and do a bit of weeding,
and enjoyed that moment of satisfaction, as I viewed the results later,
before Tony A popped in with some Turkey and a chat.

Wednesday 13th April
Saw my Solicitor and was happy that closure is close
but sad that infidelity and heartbreak carry no penalty or consideration
before enjoying Cyril's invitation to Whitby's ceremony and meal.

Thursday 14th April
Got some washing, and a bit of spring cleaning, done
before Sacha popped in for a chat, and then Arran & Loz,
and then relaxed by clearing the ironing backlog.

Friday 15th April
After opening some mail, I phoned my Solicitor and made an appointment
to exchange contracts, next Tuesday, before Loz called in
and kindly bought me some time, with my Internet connection,
before Bryan picked me up, for a lovely SRIA ceremony, in Warrington,
and it felt good to be back, after the last year's abstinence.

Saturday 16th April
Paranormal John kindly popped in, in the afternoon,
with beans, bread and 'backy, and again, late evening,
to pick me up for an interesting Group investigation of the Bear's Paw pub.

Sunday 17th April
Treated the increasingly irritating skin
and pottered around the house before Tony A called in, in the evening,
with his Sunday beer collection and some tasty home made sausage rolls
and a little camera, another present from Ernie,
which just needs a bit of memory.

Monday 18th April
Slept badly as my mind reflected on 30 years of support for my Ex-Wife
and my promise, 10 years ago, to be there for her through her Menopause
but I didn't need her phone call, or her tears, when I woke
and, after talking to our Daughter, accepted Tony A's invitation
for a beer in the Woody, in preparation for tomorrow's closure.

Tuesday 19th April
Surprised to find Sylvia nearby to my Solicitors
and so both of us went in, and signed away our past,
but it will be another fortnight before I can get the closure I crave
and afterwards, I checked my Bank balance and was just able to treat myself
to a bit of memory for Ernie's camera, as I'm now well used to not buying food.

Wednesday 20th April
Physically hurting in arm and spine
so didn't move far from the TV chair
apart from when Brian dropped in for a friendly chat.

Thursday 21st April
Another nothing day but soothed sufficiently
to enjoy a superb night at Hooton Park
at Johnnie B's invitation.

Friday 22nd April
Saddened by a letter from my Solicitor, sufficient to text Sylvia that enough is enough
and, despite my efforts to come to terms with her infidelities, amicably so-far,
I don't want to see her again and only want to deal with her legalities through her Solicitor.

Saturday 23rd April
After a few hours of, uncomfortable, sleep, I woke reassured that life has much to offer
in the future, maybe I was dreaming, and during a chat with our Daughter, Sarah,
I vocalised, but the flu, floating around on Thursday,
seems to have caught my run-down body and I had to skip the Paranormal vigil,
which I was looking forward to, and the testing of Ernie's new camera.

Sunday 24th April
Sniffled and coughed around the house a bit
but was pleased that it seems more of a cold than a nasty flu
and, wrapped up in woolly jumper, didn't mind doing nothing all day.

Monday 25th April
Still brooding, I didn't phone my Solicitor
but cheered later when Cyril popped in with his new PC
and accepted his offer of a Monday pint.

Scotty, Ernie, Me and Tony A
(all looking for a trustworthy Woman)

Tuesday 26th April
Phoned the Solicitor but she wasn't in, so must try again tomorrow,
before I wandered round to Ernie's house to have a look at his gadgets
and he kindly printed, and laminated, the pictures I had taken the previous night
before returning home in time for Paranormal John's popping in for a chat
and later attacked the increasingly poisonous arm.

Wednesday 27th April
Phoned again but my Solicitor didn't phone back, so none the wiser,
and rested the arm as I waited, but was able to look at Paul R's paradox
before Paranormal John popped in again in the evening.

Thursday 28th April
Phoned the Hospital to put off tomorrow's Consultancy, till next week,
as I want to monitor a few more days of development,  and spoke with my Solicitor,
reflecting on the Law's leanings, before Cyril popped in
and took me for an early evening chat, and pint, at the Wirral Hundreds
and was then later cheered, by a Messenger chat with my Son, Michael.

Friday 29th April
Brought my No.3 PC into the living room
and spent the rest of the day configuring all three
especially after finding viruses that AVG had let through.

Saturday 30th April
After continuing to co-ordinate the three PCs, I settled down
to watch part one of Lord of the Rings again, on TV, and half way through,
managed to have a 'nice' telephone chat with my Sister, Margaret.
