my
belief in 'Trust' is at an all time low... but not lost.

Thursday 1st September
Timmy
phoned, offering Fish and Chips, so I knew the evening was going to be
a problem and Chris R, from the course popped in, later, and a surprisingly
enjoyable night was had by all,
before I stopped up, through the remaining night, attacking the arm's discomfort.
Friday
2nd September
Managed
to get the room tidy
before Nick L arrived to chat about his web site potential
but later attacked the arm, again, before another late bed.
Saturday
3rd September
Got
out of bed in the evening,
attacked the arm,
went to bed.
Sunday
4th September
Got
up early and Mother, Simon and his girlfriend, Kirsty, arrived in the
morning
to wish me well on my 56th Birthday, as did Sarah, later, on the phone, and
was pleased
that the arm's discomfort was easing, aided by a Birthday self-treat of
Courvoisier
and, after a loooong phone chat with a lovely young Sheena
I managed to stop...
and
enjoy the anchor of the two weeks 'bonding' course, with a group of disparate
and nice people, as I start to focus on my trip to Kafka's
Prague, mid
October.
Monday
5th September
Prepared
for my Secretarial duties at my Chapter meeting
which went well, later, despite my discomfort,
sufficient to use the early close to also enjoy a Monday pint, with more pals, at the Woody.
Tuesday
6th September
Went
to my Hospital 'Light' appointment, and was concerned that they might keep me in,
but managed to leave with a tub of Gooey stuff and, after a thick coating,
relaxed with CSI at night, feeling much easier in body.
Wednesday 7th September
Coated
myself again, but not a day where stuff happened
apart for when Nick R picked up the new PC,
as I had had the same problem as he.
Thursday
8th September
The
house was tidy, when Sarah and Lee arrived with fish n chips
and, after later unwrapping her thoughtful Birthday Presents for Dad,
we all went across to the Woody for the Thursday pop Quiz
before returning home, where Sarah asked if I would do a Luscher test
on them
but couldn't find my book, so we all did a
condensed
test on the web,
before we did the Enneagram
test, and I'm intrigued that my 3 has come on
so much.

Friday
9th September
Nick
R dropped off my repaired PC and, while I was setting it up for Microsoft
Validation again,
I was so disappointed that I missed an AOL Chat with Sally and Steve,
on my old 'No.1' validated PC,
but was pleased that they had achieved their goal.
Saturday
10th September
Ian
M popped in for a chat, and he was equally amazed at my 'Google Earth'
download and,
after a visit to the supermarket, settled the arm down to a bit of Cricket
and Proms unwind,
before enjoying a listen to Bob
Harris and a nice extra nice vibe, in hearing Arlo
Guthrie again.
Sunday
11th September
Managed
to get to the mid-day appointment at the Hospital, just,
and rested the arm through the light diminished Cricket
before Tony A called in for a Sunday evening can and chat.
Monday
12th September
Forgot
that the Kirby 'Hoover' was due it's Annual Maintenance and, as England
won back the Ashes, I listened occasionally to the sales pitch for a newer
model
before Chunkie popped in, and I then popped in to his family home to check
my hypothesis,
on the way to a, quietly uncomfortable, visit to the Woody with Friends,
but remain happy at the diminishing discomfort.
Tuesday
13th September
Visited
the Hospital again, and got some more Salicylic acid
and continued to use it as if I was an In-Patient, but I'm aware that
stuff isn't getting done,
as my forthcoming Prague visit, in October, still needs a Passport.
Wednesday
14th September
Still
didn't get stuff done, but am pleased with the effects of my latest treatments
and,
after bumping into Tony A, perchance, I accepted his suggestion, because
I could, and
was happy to get myself ready for a Pint in the Woody and a bit of People
Watching.
Thursday
15th September
Enjoyed
a long chat with Ken M when he popped in, in the afternoon,
but still managed to get ready for Johnnie B's invite to a 3rd, at Hooton
Park,
and a subsequent, enjoyable, 'Bar' chat with Barry, Ben and Vinnie.
Friday
16th September
Received
a nice 'follow up' letter from Kellie W, at the Economic Development'
Department,
offering to enhance my CV, after completing the recent 'Personal Success'
Programme,
but, as the Thumb and Arm continued to disrupt my Goals, despite the evening
Hospital 'Tanning' visit, I know I wouldn't be able to employ me, and
I remain intrigued
at the opportunity to prosper as I explore Nick L's fundamental NLP
concept.
Saturday
17th September
Very
uncomfortable day, and had to postpone my return to Plas Teg for a bit
of Ghost hunting,
and remained lethargic through the evening, till Bob
Harris played a new Neil
Young song,
a lilting Country-Rock tune, and then found that all the tracks on a forthcoming
album
'Prarie Wind' are available, free by Streaming
audio, presumably pre-release, but I'll be buying it
on release date, as it well sums up how well we've travelled since the
Greendale experiences.
Sunday
18th September
Ate
a breakfast, before the visit to the Hospital, and shrugged the shoulders
when I had to stop, not far from home, as I'd got a puncture, and the
spare was flat,
but did managed to get to Harry's Christening, after Tony (next door)
provided air support,
as Nick R was clearing the room, so phoned Tony A to see if he fancied
sharing a 2for1 meal at the Woody and I ended up staying till closing
time and anaesthetised the bodily discomfort.
Monday
19th September
Got
up and found that the tyre was flat again'ish so took the advice of Tony
(next door)
and got the two tyres sorted nicely at Nation
Tyres, before picking up a Passport application,
and talking to Sylvia about where we got a skip from in our past, and
contacted Nick L
about his future web developments, and enjoyed a Monday hour, & half,
at the Woody,
and I'm happy that I'm now more 'Jonathon
Livingston Seagull' than 'Free
Bird'.
Tuesday
20th September
Received
another request to add a link to a web site, and was happy to comply,

and also enjoyed the further researching of Nicholas
Flamel,
before Sylvia
arrived at lunchtime, to pick up some un-redirected mail,
and we chatted nicely over a cup of tea, and we were able to smile together,
like old times,
before I went to the Hospital for a Zap, but I wasn't up to an SRIA
meeting in the evening.
Wednesday
21st September
Nick
L popped in, in the afternoon, and I thoroughly enjoyed our rapport
before Ian M popped in, and we explored the feasibility of him building
a web site,
about a popular 60's Band... The Renegades', of which he was a major player,
and, after looking at loads of templates, that Arran kindly offered,
I arrived at an interesting NLP concept, that provided 'food for thought'.
Thursday
22nd September
Arran
arrived mid-day'ish, but I still was 'Non
compus mentis',
but fuddled my way through
sorting his problem, as with big Dave later, before attending George S'
kind offer,
of a smashing evening at Fraser's 'Rivacre' Chapter Ceremony.
Friday
23rd September
After another Zap, played around with various NLP concepts,
and was pleased with an Artistic idea, that eventually evolved,
for a website, sufficient for Nick L's undoubted skills in
promoting 'New Thinking'.
Saturday
24th September
The
people from the double-glazing company arrived, unannounced, for their survey,
before Mother and Aunty Dot arrived, in the morning,
to pack away Grandma's tea set, and it was nice to hear other people
chunner,
rather than Clients, Friends and 'strange people' talking with me,
but my sniffles\cough progressed through the day, and I had to settle
with watching TV
through the night.
Sunday
25th September
Missed
my Hospital appointment,
as I woke in the evening,
and did little of interest that night.
Monday
26th September
The
fingers were still painful to use,
so another day passed without achieving anything,
but Yvonne phoned, and I'm looking forward to meeting her, later this
week,
accompanied by her bottle of wine, to discuss the benefits of Osteopathy, on
her website,
but was especially sad that I wasn't up to my Monday 'Woody' Camaraderie.
Tuesday
27th September
The
skin, fingers and arm are easing, but the thumb is still unusable,
so made the decision, that my, hoped for, visit to Prague, next Month,
was postponed,
as I haven't been able to pick up a pen, to fill in the Passport Renewal
form,
and, after a Zap, went on the hunt for a copy of the new Neil Young DVD\CD,
and ended up buying a Tim Buckley
CD, as I could only find the CD version of 'Prairie Wind'.
Wednesday
28th September
Nick
L arrived in the afternoon, and we enjoyed a cool chat, sharing modalities,
before, and after, a wander across to the Woody for some food and,
after some stimulating conversations and thought provoking scenarios,
I answered
an answer-machine message from Sylvia, and still wanted to support her
through her Flu attack,
and returned later to have an unwind\pint\chat with Tony A, Tony M, Stan,
Scotty, Timmy, etc.
Thursday
29th September
Read
Nick L's 'Licensed Practitioner of NLP' Manual with more understanding
and Arran popped in, as Michael phoned me, which was nice,
and then Ian M and Big Dave dropped in, and I was happy that I'm feeling
better.
Friday
30th September
Had
a phone chat, on his Birthday, with Nick L, about Tom's Game, before going for a zap,
then chatted with Tony A, and we decided to pay the Woody, rather than
telecom,
amid a youthful night, and were aware of a smattering of lady 'Silver
Surfers' looking back.
